Inspirational Escape In Color
There are two versions of this print. One in black and white and one with color. I have always been intrigued by fire escapes. Where they go, where they come from, how they make a connection to each space they pass by, and what that might mean to the occupants behind those walls. On a visit to Detroit I came across this fire escape and it inspired me. It was in an area of obvious urban decline yet its beauty was unmistakable. I snapped a picture and continued on. When I returned home I felt the need to make this into something that could be shared to inspire others as it did me. I liked the first print so much I experimented with it a little more and this second print was born.
